Sun N Fun was perfect this year in the weather department. Camping in Paradise City worked out to be a great spot for watching the show and seeing the balloons in the morning.
Dave and Cole have made great progress on the Highlander. I got to help with the paint which turned out GREAT. We are using the Stewart System waterborne paint and a simple waterline paint scheme to make the airframe appear longer. Rudder pedals and control sticks are in, now its time for the engine.

Dave and Cole have been making excellent progress on their Highlander. The fuselage is finished and primed for paint and the wings are now on spin jigs in the shop. The new aluminum fuel tanks will be delivered next week which will get us moving pretty fast on the wings. Cole is enjoying the use of power tools, especially the air powered variety.

Took time out to enjoy flying with my Just Aircraft Family on May 14-15th in Brasstown, NC. We had a wonderful Saturday filled with friends and airplane flying. It is by far, the best day I have had in a very long time.

Happy to say all the work is done for now and I am steady working on my new Highlander kit. It’s going to be a great summer.

Sun n Fun is a few weeks earlier this year then in the past. We hope everyone will have safe travels and stop by to see me in Paradise City to look at the latest Highlanders.
